VALDEPILA

Picota-cherry red, very intense. Ripe black fruit with liquorice, spice and tobacco, as Tempranillo should be. Underneath: graphite, cedar, cocoa and vanilla from the barrel. Intense, fresh and finely drawn. Ripe but firm tannins, refreshing acidity, medium to full body and a long close of dark fruit with a mineral edge.

Drink it withRoast or grilled lamb, Iberian pork, beef, game, slow-cooked dishes, aged cheeses, Manchego, mushroom dishes and roast vegetables.
